Aerial photography is almost as old as photography itself!  The first use of a camera to record the views from above occurred from a hot air balloon in 1858.  A photographer named Nader (not Ralph) shot a French chateau below him and realized the value and uniqueness of this art.  Nadar went on to produce a series of images of Paris which became a huge commercial success.   Braxton L.
